  • Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) used to be a member of indie band The Housemartins. The James Brown remixes were one of his first.
  • Razormaid was started in the mid-80s and they are famous for editing together various different mixes to create one fabulous mix.
  • Ultimix is a similar outfit to Razormaid
  • Vanessa Williams was the first African-American woman to be crowned Miss America (1983)

  • David Cole of C+C tinkled the keyboard ivories on 'Tighten Up'
  • Voodoo Ray contains samples of comedians Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, taken from the Bo Duddley sketch from the first Derek and Clive LP. It combines a sample of Peter Cook delivering the phrase "voodoo rage", truncated due to the recording equipment's lack of memory, and also Dudley Moore forcefully delivering the word "later!".
  • Byron Stingily contributed vocals on Open Our Eyes and was a member of Ten City

  • Mark Brydon produced both House Arrest and Hustle. In 1995 he formed Moloko
  • Peter Slaghuis was the man behind Hithouse. The name Hithouse is actually Peter's last name in English. Slag means Hit, Huis means House. He sadly died in a car accident in 1991.
  • 'Heat It Up' was produced by Andy Cox and David Steele of Fine Young Cannibals
  • 'Maurice' is Maurice Joshua, famous remixer who won a grammy in 2004 for remixing Beyonce's 'Crazy In Love'
  • Royal House is one of the many aliases of Todd Terry
  • 'I'll House You' was produced by Todd Terry. Essentially the brothers are rapping over 'Can You Party'
  • The 'Weekend' vocal is taken from a song of the same name by Class Action
  • Paul Rutherford was a member of Frankie Goes To Hollywood. He provided backing vocals but was best known as the dancing guy with the 'tache. 'Get Real' was produced by Mark White and Martin Fry of ABC
  • Dancin' Danny D is the man behind D-Mob
  • Fellow Jock, Brian Dougans was the man behind Humanoid, and later became one half of The Future Sound of London
  • The 'Humanoid' sample was taken from the video game 'Berzerk', recorded by Dougans in an arcade
