Historical Facts
- Coldcut's remix of 'Paid In Full' was revolutionary at the time and a breakthrough in the remix field. Eric B apparently hated it and referred to it as 'gay disco shit'
- Famous DJ & Remix duo C.J. Mackintosh & Dave Dorrell were involved in the production of 'Pump Up The Volume'
- 'Someday' was produced by house godfather Marshall Jefferson. The piano would later be revived in rave classics Sweet Harmony by Liquid and Some Justice by Urban Shakedown. Check those out here
- Rhythim is Rhythim is Derrick May, one of the founders of techno
- '2 Men' are the blokes behind Fine Young Cannibals. It was a one-off experiment while Roland Gift was off trying to be an actor. Their obvious love for house music can be heard on their various FYC 12" remixes
- '2 Puerto Ricans, a Black Man, and a Dominican' are, respectively, Dave Morales, Ralph Rosario, David Cole and Robert Clivilles. The track was basically a bootleg of the Adonis track with samples and Cole's legendary ivory tinkling
- Phuture's 'Acid Trax' is widely acknowledged to have been the first acid track, featuring characteristic bass lines from the Roland TB-303
